Communicating the architectural vision for Heathrow City by Hawkins\Brown
We creatively directed a disruptive version to the typical master plan book, making big ideas accessible to a wider audience. Part of the Exhibition: Heathrow City - Developing the Vision.
Architectural practice Hawkins\Brown was selected by the London Major, Boris Johnson as one of three practices to present their vision for the new London Borough of Heathrow. Which would be a city extension for London, which could provide 80,000 new homes and 90,000 jobs, the visions for 2029 being presented at the Exhibition: Heathrow City, Developing the Vision.
Working collaboratively with Hawkins\Brown we creatively directed a disruptive version to the typical master plan book, with immediacy and accessibility at its heart; bring their vision for the new London Borough of Heathrow to life. Designed for the people the publication embraces the social niceties of a magazine under the masthead LHRC, Life in Heathrow City.
Bursting with Hawkins\Brown’s engaging concept, Romance of the Skies, and Factory Fifteen’s stunning visualisations of the 3 big ideas: What’s in the skies at Heathrow 2.0? Everyone a builder, A green belt in the green belt.
Bringing page by page to life by intertwining vision, culture, society and humor. Wrapped in a graphic sensibility to make big ideas understandable.
